The Hippest of the
Hell's Kitchen Hepcats

Hepis the coolest of cool cats. In fact, he’s a bit of a wild cat who really likes the dollies. As a bandleader, he’s cut from the Cab Calloway mold. As a dancer, Hep is somewhere between Frankie Manning and Fred Astaire.

Like some other 90’s cats with a music jones in their bones, Hep deHopcat grew up on recycled rock . Hep took his shot at hip hop, where he was known as Grandmaster Jiggycat. Hep rhymed and styled and gangsta’d wild. He was so far down he had Tommy’s name on everything but his brain. Eventually, Hep had his fill of rap, and starting listening for some sound that had something more going for it. Other than eye-buggin’ on Shania Twain videos, Hep couldn’t get down with either rock or country.

That’s when he met this sweet thing who was into swing. Her name was Dollie and she appealed to his animal instincts. Yee-ow, and how! This sexy young lady took him to the Hep Hop Nightclub and introduced him to the magic of swing -- from Basie to Bee-Bop. From two-toned shoes to pork-pie hats. From pretzels to aerials.

He got so far into it, he connected with a group of ax murders who went by the tag of the Zoot Monsters. With them as his band, he made this six-pack EP.
